About Me

Liz Foster aged 29- Born in Cambridge, studied at Lincoln University before coming to London to further my opportunities. Adventurous and determined I am now looking to return to coaching spending time at a grass roots level helping to develop young people and adults in sport and community settings, whilst building up my own business.

Three years working as a Full-time Community Sports Coach primarily in a football setting gaining UEFA B status, Futsal Award, coaching Disabled and Blind footballers amongst others.  The position developed into multi-sports coaching where I was employed by local schools to deliver P.E (dance, gym, invasion and racket games) during PPA time. With a target of increasing girls participation I’ve coached 1600 girls encouraging them to lead a healthier lifestyle. To this day I am still in contact with many of the children and their families.

Four years working as the Sports Event Coordinator for the London borough of Kingston upon Thames increasing youth participation by a third in events such as the London Youth Games and the London Mini Marathon. Running sports competitions and races across the borough including prestigious celebrations such as the Borough Sports Awards. I have a sound understanding and knowledge on how to run a successful event.

Enthusiastic and passionate about sport and the positive effects it can have, I am keen to impart my skills and knowledge via coaching and event management.
